About the Department:
The Department of Physics at Dr B. R. Ambedkar University is recognized as one of the top departments, paving the way in both education and research. The department established on June 2017. By Honourable Vice –Chancellor of University Prof. K. RamjiGaru. The
mentor of the department was Prof. K. NiranjanGaru, Department ofPhysics, Andhra University Visakhapatnam, who was the chairman, BOS. The department presently has about 4-Faculty members, all of whom participate in the postgraduate
educational programs and direct active research programs. Faculty members have rich teaching experience and are engaged in active research work encompassing various emerging fields like materials science, solid state physics, nuclear
physics, optics, Nanoscience & Technology, and Electronics. To build a foundation for excellence and encourage the development of the Institution as a premier Institution by promoting enthusiasm, interests and passion towards research,
in the study of physics as a part of curriculum. Our mission is to provide a high level of education in the various fields of physics, to develop the educational process and to keep up with global developments in science. In addition,
our mission is to prepare graduates with high degrees of efficiency and competence. Teaching and scientific positions, Defence, Space, Electronics, and Researchoriented jobs So, with their regresses theoretical/ practical knowledge
the student become eligible for his recruitment in any of the employing organizations DRDO, ISRO, PRL, ONGC, GSI, BARC, TIFR, NPCIL, NSTL, IIG, CSIR Labs, NIO, UPSC GEOSCIENTISTS, Lecturers in govt Junior, Polytechnic, and Degree colleges.
VISION:
To accumulate the Physics knowledge, developing and sharing it in a scientific community that shares common principles.
